Saturday Munchies 6 - Steak for my man

Felt loving one Saturday so decided to cook me F a nice steak. Sealed in juices on a hot stove and shoved in an oven to finish ala restaurant style. Despite a misadventure with my modern shortcut pepper sauce, I served up some striploin, not some cheap ass sirloin. Accompanied by a sad potato (which took forever to bake) with my homemade bacon bits and some undressed carrots, it kinda looked like a English school lunch. The egg on top, while suitably runny, was the disastrous result of a struggle with a heart mold.

I came across this while reading slashdot. Almost split out the water I was drinking.

Testing Email Feature in Blogger

Hmm, it works.

Anyway looking at Padma Lakshmi in Allure, doesn't it make you envy Salman Rushdie? He used to paddle that ass. Amazing.

Updated!!! (via Blogger itself)
Well not entirely, it can't do justify and the image is defaulted to the top of the entry. Yiks! Think I will stick to bloggging directly.

Techo Bitching - Where the F are my pictures going?

Android Dev Phone (again)
I took many pictures with my lame ass Dev phone during these past few weeks. What is bizarre is that after I emailed them to my other gmail account is that they never made it there...weird thing is that they used to.

So where are my stupid photos going, someone pls tell me? Hopefully not someone else. He /she is going to receive a series of photos that don't make sense, like a violin (which I name Shitty, for its quality of sound and color), a steak and some body builders (haha). And Google said they improved their mobile Gmail. Well dude, you gotta improve some more. Seriously.

Very adorably, just when I was thinking of building an app to allow blogging from my phone (since I tried two weeks ago to blog here via my phone - discovering I couldn't). Google has set up two features, blogging from your phone and blogging from your email. Well being the cheapo, I am just going to try the Email one, and report what happens. If it ends up being sent to someone else or lost in space, I am going to be PISSED.

Big M people love Big G search
Isn't it ironic that Ole Bill forbids Melinda and kiddies from buying iPhone and iPod when his staff are rampantly using Google to do their online searches, and not their own live.com? Ah, talk about leading a horse to water and can't force it to drink/drown...Well actually it can, just block www.google.com. Hahaha!!!

Just read what Ina Fried says at CNET, "Microsoft's lackluster search share isn't limited to Redmond. The latest monthly statistics, released Friday, show Microsoft with just 10.3 percent of the U.S. market, according to Nielsen Online, compared with 64.2 percent for Google and 15.8 percent for Yahoo. More importantly, the company had year-over-year growth of less than 1 percent compared to 16 percent growth for the market as a whole."

We love you Pirate Bay!!!
While I don't *censored* from Pirate Bay, I do love information sharing. And I am super annoyed at those big companies which think they can stomp on us little guys, who are also their customers. Don't they understand that if we like something we see, we will buy it? The Pirate Bay guys are just helping to spread the word. How else are we supposed to find out what's the newest and latest in the other markets (e.g. US), if we are limited to waiting patiently for them to reach us on the other side of the world?

Now Peter Sunde, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Fredrik Neij, and Carl Lundström have lost the criminal case against them and are sentenced to one year jail each. On top of that, the civil claim (made together with the criminal case) requires them to pay up US$3.6M to 17 media companies, such as Sony BMG, Warner Bros. Entertainment, MGM Pictures, Columbia Pictures Industries, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal, EMI, Blizzard Entertainment etc. I reserve judgement on the moolah issue, but seriously, 1 year jail?!!!

Fight on! Our Heroes!

Lastly,
This blog is starting to look like it's my own. I was thinking of moving my tech stuff to another blog but then this one will be like... DEAD. Seems like more people worldwide read this more often than ourselves.

Huzzah! Burger Stacko moves from Flash -> Android

Pity my pathetic victory. I have finally finished migrating my first flash game over to Android. What a horrific struggle it has been, esp since I have more or less left programming behind like donkey years ago. (Btw I have not put in the super fun stuff yet, like moving the buttons randomly within the row to screw with people playing the game. Still have a long way to go. But at least the F**ker seems ok.)

The fact is now biting me in the arse more than ever. Really it is not good to be stuck at *censored* too long, my teeth are actually growing longer. On another note, Bloody Big M has rejected me again. First as a possible employee, now as a potential client, I can't take any more rejection *wail*. F**k big M, we were too early for the meeting and I spent the whole time staring out the window, across the road at Raffles Quay where Google is *haha*. Seriously where is a female Googler when I need one. I can introduce you 7 gorgeous geeks (geek is sexy, just look at the success of The Big Bang Theory, the show not the theory). In return, a recommendation to join Google. Kein mies Geschäft, nicht wahr *winks*?

Innocent Bystander Moscato 2008

This is a very nice Australian Moscato, that I bought from Jones the Grocer, Dempsey Road. It is very nice, sweet and frizzy. Great with desserts. Unfortunately I did not have a strawberry tart with me. But it still tasted great.

Check out the review from Old Bridge Cellars.

Kanye West and his reaction to "GayFish" FishSticks

Not sure what is funnier, this week South Park episode or Kanye West's reaction)? Whatever it is, I sure love the song.

Updated!!!
You can now download the full version of the Gay Fish Song @ South Park Studios Sounds! I love Matt and Trey!!!

TGIF Specials 7 : What do you read? A love for Tofu or Sex?

A Colorado woman loved tofu and wanted a customised licence plate to show for it.

But DMV blocked her plan because they thought that the combination of letters could be interpreted as profane.
