She's such a Geek

If I were to describe this book in one word. It is "Comforting".

Not that I was exposed to derision and misogynistic attitudes from men like many of these women are (during both my Bachelors and Masters, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to female professors, and almost equable populations of male and female classmates), but I was very consoled by the fact that I was not alone and I too could identify with some of my female geeks' thinking and experiences, particularly on the growing up nerd part. 

I would recommend everyone to read this book, especially those jerk faces who were ever mean or pander towards female geeks, to go read this book.
